THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead custom home builds and high-end renovation projects from preconstruction through final handover. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you will serve as the primary point of accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and client experience on every project you lead. You will work directly with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and our trade partners to deliver residences that reflect Arrowhead’s standard of excellence.

 WHAT YOU’LL DO

 –      Lead custom home and renovation projects end-to-end, from preconstruction planning through client walkthrough and closeout

–      Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and trade sequencing to keep projects on time and on budget

–      Maintain daily on-site presence to oversee subcontractors, inspect quality, and resolve field issues proactively

–      Serve as the primary client contact throughout construction—setting expectations, communicating progress, and managing selections timelines

–      Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to ensure design intent is fully realized in the field

–      Source and manage trade partners and vendors; negotiate scopes, review bids, and issue purchase orders

–      Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation with precision

–      Conduct regular project meetings and deliver clear progress updates to ownership and clients

–      Uphold and enforce Arrowhead’s Core Values and quality standards across all business aspects

–      Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and trade partner relationships

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required

–      3–7+ years of project management experience in custom residential construction or high-end renovation

–      Proven track record managing projects from $500K to $5M+ in a client-facing general contractor or luxury builder environment

–      Deep knowledge of residential construction sequencing, systems, and finish work

–      Strong financial acumen—comfortable building and tracking detailed project budgets and cost reports

–      Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to manage high expectations from homeowners, architects, and designers with professionalism

–      High organizational discipline—you run tight schedules, tight documentation, and don’t let details slip

–      Proficiency with construction management software (Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar)

–      Valid driver’s license and ability to be on-site daily across Austin-area project locations

 Preferred

 –      Experience working alongside architects and interior designers on architecturally driven custom homes

–      Established relationships with Austin-area architects, trade contractors and suppliers

–      Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

WHY ARROWHEAD

 –      Work on some of Austin’s most architecturally distinctive custom homes and renovations

–      Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, including performance-based incentives

–      Health, dental, and vision benefits

–      A collaborative, high-trust team environment where your expertise is respected

–      Direct path to Senior PM and leadership as the company grows

–      Work alongside a leadership team with deep construction and design industry expertise
