Sitting at 8,900 feet elevation, the north end of the Gunnison Valley is a high-alpine paradise. Winter, Summer, Spring, or Fall, natural beauty is abundant in this unique town at the end of the road.
Crested Butte is often described as a surf town in the mountains. It’s one of those places where you can go and relax.
Stroll up and down Elk Avenue, the town’s main drag, and check out the shopping, galleries, and more good restaurants and bars than a town this size normally has.
Visitors pilgrimage to this place for its legendary mountain bike trails, beautiful wildflowers, and steep skiing.
The town boasts numerous parks, and throughout the year, you can enjoy seasonal events, concerts, and farmers markets.

The home is near historic Elk Avenue, numerous parks, and the shuttle to the top of the mountain.

Crested Butte Mountain provides exceptional skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels and is globally renowned for its premier backcountry skiing. The towns of Crested Butte and Mount Crested Butte are lively and all restaurants are generally open and require reservations.
Access to the mountain is convenient by car with paid parking available, though the preferred option is a quick, complimentary 5-minute shuttle ride from town. The shuttle stop, located just half a block from the home, runs every 10-15 minutes throughout the ski season.
In addition to skiing, winter adventures abound, including snowmobiling, ice skating, Nordic skiing, and, of course, the ultimate après-ski indulgence—relaxing in a hot tub.

Summer in Crested Butte offers endless outdoor adventures for every interest—hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, birdwatching, paddleboarding, golfing, and exploring the stunning beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
Spend your days immersed in nature and your evenings enjoying the lively atmosphere of town. June and July brings peak activity, with outdoor music festivals, performing arts, shopping, dining, and farmers' markets happening regularly.
May and early June tend to be slower and “easy” with crowds generally arriving in mid-June when all of the restaurants tend to be open and require reservations.
Mid-August brings the end of the summer season.
